A video about the Aquino-Cojuangco dynasty. Most anti-Marcos people have labelled me as a Marcos sympathizer for various reasons. Truth: I don’t sympathize. I merely believe that the former President Marcos is a brilliant individual for topping the bar exams (92%) and for the (forgotten) improvements he’s done for the country. I, however, do not condone the atrocities of his government and the ostentatious and lavish lifestyle of the family.

It’s the same I feel towards the Aquino-Cojuangco dynasty. Noynoy has evaded the issue of Hacienda Luisita. It baffles me because I expect him to speak about the issue and how it can be resolved so the farmers are not at a loss. If given the chance, I will ask him about this because it’s no small thing to disregard thousands of hectares of land and an industry monopolized by a few individuals.

Numbers and figures may differ between the killings of both governments but the bottom line is: LIVES ARE TAKEN AWAY and TAKEN FOR GRANTED. I would not care who committed more murder, abductions, etc to make the other a saint or a glorified hero. In my eyes and within my limited reasoning: people died and that’s enough for me to believe that neither of the two are saints.
